What is the functional fitness anyway?
Functional Fitness refers to a style of working out that helps to prepare you for your daily activities so you’re strong, flexible and conditioned when you need to be at work, with your kids and for your weekend adventures.
Expect to be bending, twisting, lifting, loading, pushing, pulling, squatting and hauling in our workouts but never at the expense of your wellness.
After 10+ years as a fitness competitor, personal trainer and health coach, I’ve seen countless people engage in the wrong type of workouts for their unique health situation.
It’s way too common for people to be slotted into one-size-fits-all programming which leads to burnout, injuries, metabolic damage and ultimately quit before they achieve their amazing fitness goals.

STEP ONE: Reach out to me to book your initial complimentary session.
In this session we’ll meet at our private facility in Corktown, Old Toronto, to discuss your health history, goals and complete your functional movement assessment.
From this assessment I’ll be able to create your custom weight training and conditioning program to help you responsibly achieve all of your fitness goals!
Choose how often you want to move your body! You may want to start out with 2 sessions per week and increase it to 3 per week as you get more conditioned and in your flow.
All sessions are purchased in a monthly renewable package that can be cancelled anytime without issue.
STEP TWO: Choose your frequency and intensity.
The difference between successful training programs and unsuccessful ones is the ability for those to stay honest with and present to your needs.
Be mindful of self-limiting beliefs of “I can’t do this” or “It’s too hard”. They are old tapes we play when we feel overwhelmed. By bringing these thoughts to the table with your coach (me!), we can troubleshoot them so to keep you steady on your path to functional fitness for years to come!
